I am very interested in the Derma Cleanse herbal supplements. I have had beautiful skin most of my life up until I was 17 (I am now 19). At that time, I had been getting horrible migranes that I was treating with accupuncture and a Chinese herbal supplement. Around the end of my junior year of high school, however, I found out that I had a blood clot in my liver that may have been triggered by the herbal supplement I was taking and a pre-existing clotting disorder (Factor V defficiency). My liver suffered some irreversible damage because of the clot and the procedures used to treat it. OK, so what does this have to do with my acne? I just recently found out about the connection between liver function and acne. Right around the time all of this was going on with my liver, I began to suffer from breakouts for the first time in my life. My skin has been covered with pimples ever since. It has been very frustrating for me because none of the topical medications seem to be working and I cannot take prescription medications to heal the skin disorder (birth control, acutane, etc.). Needless to say, your product looks very promising, but I have a few concerns. Will the supplements be harmful to my already damaged liver? I am also on Coumadin (a blood thinner that regulates my bleeding disorder). Will the supplements interact with this? Basically, I want to know if taking this product will be detrimental to me because of my condition, or will it help me even more because I have an abnormal liver functions?
